Each semester’s class annually elects officers
to coordinate its activities. The class officers also meet regularly with a
selected faculty member of their choice. The Student Government association,
SGA, bylaws are contained in a monograph.
In addition, the student
president and vice president of each class make up the Student Council, which
meets with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and other administrative
officers. Students may serve actively on a number of Faculty committees if their
grades are satisfactory.
A new tradition to be placed into effect at the
appropriate time shall be that the Student Body Class of the Second Semester
Class shall arrange a Welcoming Party for the First Semester Class and it would
follow that the Third Semester Class shall arrange a Basic Science Graduation
Party for the graduating Fourth Semester Class.
The Dean’s Office
administrator will make available the Student Government Association Bylaws to
all at the appropriate time.
